About the Program
The National Girls in ICT Competition 2026 is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy aimed at closing the gender gap in technology.
The program invites teams of girls aged 10–16 (JS1–SS3) to develop creative technology solutions addressing challenges in Agriculture, Education, or Health.
Selected teams will receive structured training and mentorship to strengthen their digital and problem-solving skills while building confidence in STEM fields.
The initiative is supported by partners including KOICA and Plan International.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be girls aged 10–16 years enrolled in school (JS1–SS3)
- Apply as a team of 2–3 members
- Attend a public or private school in Nigeria
- Obtain school approval
- Provide parent/guardian consent
- Submit one entry per team
- Present an innovative solution in:
- Agriculture
- Education
- Health
