SLE Postgraduate Program 2026 (€1,300 Monthly Scholarship)

Application Deadline: June 30, 2026

The SLE Postgraduate Program 2026 offers a fully funded pathway into the world of international development and cooperation. Hosted in Berlin, this one-year program is designed for motivated graduates ready to turn academic knowledge into real-world global impact.

With over six decades of experience, the program run by Centre for Rural Development (SLE) blends academic learning with hands-on field experience. It’s not just about studying development; it’s about actively shaping it.

The year is structured into two phases. The first half focuses on intensive coursework, where participants build strong foundations in development policy, project management, and intercultural collaboration. The second phase takes learning beyond the classroom through Joint International Research Projects (JIRPs), where small teams work on real challenges in partner countries.

This practical exposure is what makes the program stand out. You won’t just learn frameworks, you’ll apply them in complex environments, gaining the kind of experience employers in international organizations value. Alongside this, participants benefit from career coaching, networking opportunities, and direct interaction with professionals in the field.

The program is full-time and requires strong commitment, but it offers a rare combination of academic depth, fieldwork, and career preparation in one package.
