About the Program
The Study in Canada Scholarships (SICS) is an initiative by Global Affairs Canada aimed at strengthening global academic partnerships. For the 2026-2027 cycle, Canada has introduced an adjusted delivery model where Canadian institutions are now directly responsible for the selection of students.
This scholarship is not for a full degree, but for a short-term exchange or research project (4 to 6 months). It enables students from diverse backgrounds to enrich their academic careers through cultural exchange and high-level research in Canada’s diverse learning environment.

How to Apply
Interested students should immediately contact their university’s International Relations Office to inquire about exchange partnerships under the Study in Canada Scholarships 2026 program. Since Canadian institutions are now responsible for selection, being nominated by your home school is the only pathway to securing this award.
