About the Opportunity

The Youth4Climate Call for Solutions is a global innovation challenge supporting youth and youth-led organizations working on climate-focused initiatives.

Launched under the Youth4Climate initiative with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Call funds both new and existing projects that demonstrate readiness for implementation or scaling.

Since 2023, Youth4Climate has allocated USD 4 million to 150 youth-led projects across 59 countries. The 2026 round marks the fourth funding cycle, continuing its commitment to empowering young innovators.

Eligibility Criteria

Individual Applicants

  • Be aged 18 to 29
  • Be a national of an eligible country listed in the Call Guidelines

Organizational Applicants

  • Be a legally registered youth-led CSO, NGO, CBO, or company
  • The majority leadership is aged 18–29
  • Ensure the project lead is aged 18–29 at submission

Additional Requirements

  • The proposed project must be implemented in an eligible country
  • The project must align with one of the thematic areas
