UN DPoA Call for Submissions 2026 (Global Publication)

Application Deadline: 25 June 2026

Organizations and institutions working across least developed countries now have a chance to showcase real impact on a global stage. The UN is inviting submissions of powerful, evidence-based stories that demonstrate progress under the Doha Programme of Action (DPoA).

As part of the upcoming Mid-Term Review of the Doha Programme of Action scheduled for 2027 in Doha, the United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States is compiling a flagship publication titled Voices of Transformation.

This initiative goes beyond storytelling; it is about documenting measurable progress and highlighting solutions that are transforming lives across the world’s most vulnerable countries. Selected submissions will contribute to a global publication that serves as both a knowledge resource and a platform for peer learning, policy influence, and international visibility.

The call focuses on real-world examples of change across 44 least developed countries (LDCs), particularly those that demonstrate innovation, scalability, and long-term impact. If your work addresses poverty reduction, climate resilience, technological advancement, or inclusive development, this is a strategic opportunity to position your efforts within a global policy conversation.

Submissions should align with the six priority areas of the DPoA, including human development, science and innovation, structural transformation, trade, climate resilience, and global partnerships. The stronger your evidence, data, results, and outcomes, the higher your chances of being featured.

Eligibility

Submissions are open to:

  • Governments of Least Developed Countries (LDCs)
  • UN agencies and affiliated entities
  • International and regional organizations
  • Civil society organizations
  • Development partners

To be considered, entries should:

  • Clearly align with one or more DPoA priority areas
  • Demonstrate measurable impact and real outcomes
  • Show potential for replication or scaling
  • Highlight innovation and resilience
  • Reflect sustainability and long-term value
  • Emphasize inclusivity and partnerships

Supporting materials may include:

  • High-quality visuals (photos, charts, graphics)
  • Testimonials from beneficiaries or stakeholders
  • Reference documents or official reports

Benefits

While this is not a direct funding opportunity, the value lies in global exposure and influence. Selected submissions will:

  • Be featured in a high-level UN publication
  • Gain international visibility among policymakers and development actors
  • Contribute to shaping global development narratives
  • Position organizations as leaders in impactful solutions
  • Open doors for future partnerships and collaboration

For many organizations, this kind of recognition can translate into long-term funding opportunities and strategic alliances.

Application

All submissions must be completed through the official UN-OHRLLS portal. Applicants are encouraged to present well-structured, evidence-backed stories that clearly demonstrate outcomes and lessons learned.

Ensure your submission is concise, data-driven, and aligned with the DPoA framework. Including visuals and testimonials can significantly strengthen your entry.
