About the Opportunity
The Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship 2026 is designed to support emerging African leaders who are creating meaningful solutions that help young people access employment, develop entrepreneurial skills, and build sustainable livelihoods.
Africa is the world’s youngest continent, with more than 60% of its population under the age of 25. However, millions of young people across the region continue to face challenges such as limited access to education, job opportunities, financial resources, and technology.
Through this scholarship, the Z Zurich Foundation aims to empower grassroots leaders who are already addressing these challenges within their communities. Selected scholars will be invited to attend the One Young World Summit 2026, one of the world’s most influential gatherings of young leaders and innovators.
The summit will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3 to 6 November 2026, bringing together young leaders from around the world to discuss global challenges and develop collaborative solutions.
In addition to attending the summit, selected participants will join specialized leadership development activities and networking sessions designed to expand their impact.
This opportunity is officially offered by the Z Zurich Foundation in partnership with One Young World, and applicants should apply through the official application portal.
